Who I am

I am a fully qualified Level 2 and Level 3 Personal Trainier, Metafit and Boxercise Instructor and also have qualifications in Functional Stretching and Enhanced Circuit Training.

 

Fifteen years ago I had never done any exercise at all in my life.  I was the one who used to pretend to be ill when it came to doing sport at school.  Christmas fifteen years ago I saw a photograph of myself and decided I had to do something to get in better shape.  So I started going to fitness classes and took up running.  I began to see results and felt fitter and better about myself.  That was the turning point in my life, discovering the great satisfaction and feeling from achieving results through fitness and a healthy lifestyle.  I became hooked.

 

I am still a very keen runner and love the variety of mixing running with other fitness regimes.  I have completed a number of crazy ultra marathons, mountain marathons in Iceland, ran the 70 mile coastal path of the Isle of Wight, 69 miles of Hadrian's Wall, 100 milers and completed the Welsh 3000's, along with some shorter distance ones too.  I also completed JOGLE last year (860 miles of running over 17 days).  It never ceases to amaze me what we can achieve with some guidance, knowledge and motivation.  I believe that variety in exercise is key to keeping motivated and promote this in all my training sessions.

I am a mobile trainer and will bring the training sessions to your home, at a local park or to a local venue.
